Yes, a month is not a problem. Normally the maximum is 10 - 12 weeks. Anyway, the website will show what is the maximum you can hire the vehicle. Start to make a search based on your search criteria. If the website show results (car photos) it is possible. BTW. Periods of weeks is pricewise the best to choose (if possible for you). So in your case 4 weeks would show the best rates. Just experiment a bit.

Yes. You can add an additional driver online. Normally it will be offered under EXTRAS, just before the payment stage. Info and price you can find under " IMPORTANT INFORMATION " then choose the tab " DRIVER ". For example Centauro offer it under extras and say this:-

Ok, what about insurance? I would like to cover the excess. So I don't have to worry about any damage or theft, etc.

Also Centauro offer a new package called " Zero Excess Bundle ". You pay for an extra Insurance and also pay less deposit. On top if that you can use your debit card to hold the deposit.
